Portrait of Lizelotte Green

I'm Head of Product at an early-stage AI company. Before that, 10 years at Balsamiq, an AI-powered wireframing and prototyping tool built for product teams: joined in 2016 as CRM Product Manager and Sales Support Lead for Olio, their internal licensing and entitlements platform, then took on PM of the core product in late 2023. The path shows up in how I work: close to customers, close to the product, and close to the code.

I do my best work where the person making the product judgment is close enough to the implementation to be accountable for it.

Now

Head of Product at an early-stage AI company in legal technology, working across two live products with a small distributed team. Right now that means defining the ICP, running product discovery, and deciding what is actually worth building next.

Featured case studies

Some of what I've owned end to end: shipping code, moving a room with data, and building the process the company ships inside. Click through for the full write-up.

PM in the code: How I built and shipped a pricing update

Kill the HiPPO — Chapter 3

How Balsamiq's owner and I decided what to build: choosing a "season" of work (features, chores, or bugs), running a weekly Product Review Board, and shaping the roadmap through a monthly meeting. Interviewed by Steve McLeod and Siew Ann Tan, 2026.

Usability heuristics: A sanity check before you ship your product

A practical guide to using heuristics as a lightweight evaluation tool before shipping. Balsamiq blog, September 2025.

Off the clock You'll find me cycling through Chicago, walking my dog Cachao, or visiting veggie-friendly spots and coffee shops with my husband.
